Here’s the truck project you’ve been looking for.

1966 Extended cab GMC.

The extended cab is made of 2 full size doors cut down to the length the windows would still roll up and down. The back “doors” have been welded shut. You can make them open or weld it up all the way and make it all nice and smooth.

The frame is not extended. The frame is not bent.

Due to the frame humping up in the back it doesn’t allow the bed to sit low enough to let the body lines match up. Notch the bed out and it will sit even. Or lift the cab a little. Its very roomy. Not much actual rust. The floors are solid. One rear rocker has a small rust spot and the fenders have the usual rot in the lower portion.

It has a 305 6 cylinder and a manual trans. The trans is no good. I haven’t ever tried to start the engine in the few years I’ve had it.

It’s roughly 22 feet long.

It has a set of dually wheels on it.

Front interior is all stock and there. Back is blank and would be easy to build out interior wise.
