1967 GMC Other Description:

1967 GMC step side pickup truck fully restored. This was a one family owned truck for 49 yeas. Special ordered with the big 292 6 cylinder engine, heavy duty four speed transmission and a 3:54 rear gear axle. The original owner lived in California and purchased this truck out of Oregon in 1967, to save on taxes I was told. He then drove it back home to California where the truck resided until 1990 when he fell ill and the truck was passed onto his son in Oregon. The truck was then taken completely apart and restored to it current state with original documented milage in the 30K range. The original engine was rebuilt in 2007 and runs like a sewing machine. The interior was completely redone in 2017 with period correct materials, as well as all new white wall tires including the spare in 2018. Full time log and restoration binder comes with the truck as well as original manuals and Protecto-Plate.
