1968 Ford Mustang Description:

We are selling out 1968 Ford Mustang Fastback. It is a real 02 V8 fastback. This car is in beautiful condition and was rotisserie restored.
Body-
The body of this mustang is beautiful. Its straight and the paint job is very presentable. It is painted white with blue stripes, the stripes are painted on. The fenders and doors are new and were removed when the car was painted. The quarter panels, floor pan, and trunk pan have all been professinoaly replaced. This is absolutely no rust/bondo anywhere on this car. Any rust was cut out and patched via metal. The entire underbody of this mustang rhino-lined, not under coated, while it was on the rotisserie. The chrome on the bumpers and all the trim is like new. The Wheels are brand new Torq Thrust II 17x8 with brand new tires. 245/45/17 in the back and 225/45/17 in the front. The trunk was painted body color along with everything. The windshield and rear window are new.
Interior.
The entire interior of this mustang is an explosion of blue. It is in immaculate condition. There is not a single thing wrong with any of the interior, as it is entirely new. All the gauges work. All the interior lights work. The horn works, and the radio/speakers work. There is not a single tear anywhere in the seats or the headliner.
Drivetrain.
This mustang has the original 289 it came with from the factory, and was rebuilt by an ex Ford engineer in Dearborn, Michigan. It now has a mild roller cam, 1.6 Ford SVO roller rockers, and aluminum heads. It also has an aluminum intake, and ceramic coated Tri-Y longtube headers. The carb is a four barrel Holly. It has an entirely new power steering system. The valve covers and air cleaner are also brand new. The entire engine bay shines as well as the body. You can see in the photos just how extensive the restoration was. The engine is backed by a Four Speed Top loader transmission which was rebuilt years ago at a local transmission shop during the restoration. It shifts flawlessly. The rear end is a Ford 8 inch which was also rebuilt. Gas tank is new. Rear leaf springs and shocks are new. It has an entirely new exhaust/muffler setup from engine back. The car starts right up, runs and drives wonderfully. All four brakes were rebuilt during restoration with new wheels cylinders and hardware. There is not a single leak anywhere.
This is a great opportunity it own a one of a kind 1968 Fastback mustang. It is a 6 year restoration so it does show minor age such as small paint chips but is in overall 9/10 condition.
