1979 Ford F-250 Description:

1979 Ford F 250, numerous upgrades and still a work in progress. This Ford F 250 is solid peice of steel. Was a project vehicle for us. They have gone to college, selling to help with the next chapter in life.
The truck is a 1979 Ford F250, we purchased on eBay in March of 2013. It was in Portland, Oregon prior to us. We have approximately $24,000 in the truck including the purchase. What has been updated:

• Cooling system, 2 electric fans mounted on radiator
• Re-manufactured Inline 6 300 cu in, single barrel carb
• After market a/c, which blows cold
• Dakota Dash Model VHX Their website is Dakota Digital
• New clutch, throw out bearing and re-surfaced pressure plate
• Rebuilt Transmission, Transfer case and manual lock out hubs
• New exhaust
• Replaced Floor pans Replaced and repainted truck bed
• New bumper with back up lights, installed in bumper
• Retro sound stereo with bluetooth and sub
• Tires have 20,000 miles, Bridgestone Revo 2
• New shocks approximately 20,000 miles New brakes approximately 20,000 miles

It was the vehicle our daughters drove to school. It is dependable and as safe as a 1979 vehicle can be. There is a some rust: The door's at the bottom have the usual, from rain running down the glass The cab has some above the windshield in the corners. It is not much, but if you clean it regular you notice. There is also a blemish in the paint on the hood. I am not sure what created it, but it was there when we got it.
