1963 Ford Galaxie 500 Description:

1963 Ford Galaxie 500, 289 CI V-8, Ford AOD Transmission. Undercarriage, engine bay, engine, transmission restored in the fall of 2011. Less then 1,500 miles since then. Great running, looking car. Interior is original but very clean overall. Aluminum radiator, electric fans, AOD transmission, and wheels are the only non-factory modifications done. Only apparent rust is a 1/2 dollar bill sized paint flake on the drivers quarter, right behind the rear wheel towards the bottom of the car and a few small specs on the passenger side doors near the bottom (hardly noticable), 1 through spot in the trunk about the size of half a dollar bill (in the very corner) and another in the opposite side trunk support rail. New starter, tires are 75+ %, wheels are very nice. Exhaust was also replaced in 2011 when the engine/trans etc was rebuilt. Was appraised in 2011 for $11,500. Reduced from $9,500 last fall/this spring. Minor rear main leak and some seepage from other seals, common for a vintage car - no serious leaks. Assume odometer has rolled over and has 114,765 miles. Also comes with a couple boxes of extras.
