1970 Ford F-250 Description:

This truck is the real deal, barn find..................Build sheet (on-line) matches the truck, no alterations have been made its 100% original.We purchased this truck from the guy that found it and it has been stored for many years on and off by the original owner in Northern Michigan, where they don't use salt in the Winter.
Odometer shows 86,000 which we believe to be original but that cannot be verified.
We decided to replace several parts and added a brand new 2 barrel carburetor, new spark plugs, rotor, distributor cap, points, condenser, PCV valve, spark plug wires, removed all gas and it runs like a champ.
The old guy that owned it kept it up very well and despite not being a perfectionist, he did some decent work to keep it looking good. We are not sure how much paint work was done but at this age it has had some and most likely had some paint and rust repair that we are unaware of.
It has power steering, power brakes, sliding back window, dual tanks. All the interior lights as well as exterior lights, turning lights, wipers and headlights are in working order.
The seat looks original and is worn out on the drivers side as you can see in the picture. It will need a new kit or seat cover.
2 Gas tanks, tank behind drivers seat is new. We emptied both tanks and put clean fuel in both tanks.
Underside is very solid, bed has no rust. Camper specials were made to be used and this one is still a brute. You could add a camper or pull a trailer with this truck today!
Manifold will need tightening, or add a set of headers....and leaf springs may need some work. If you want a daily driver you could change these out and it would ride smooth.
Radio is not working and will need to be updated.
Mirrors are all original, windows and vents work.
This Camper Special is an excellent candidate to be fully restored.
