1969 Ford Mustang Description:

We came across this 32K mile fastback that was in a basement of shop in East TN. The car was purchased from original owner that bought car when he was 19. It was used like any 19 year old would of in 1970. The motor was pulled for unknown reason and a new better one was planned and never came to pass. That was in late 70's. The body is is nearly rust free with an exception of right rear quarter on the low wheel well lip. There are two small holes where back of drivers seat mounts and battery box bottom is rusted. Anything else is surface rust. There is one bondo spot behind drivers door. We steam cleaned under car to get rid of spider webs and road dirt. The car was heavily under coated and very little came off. Where it did shows virgin metal and red primer from factory. The car is F code 302 2-V C-4 with A/C. I have original motor on Pallet. The inner wheel wells were rattled canned blue and the front wells painted red. I thought steam cleaner would of removed but it was stuck well to under coating. There are original factory marking on rear end and leaf springs.
Perfect car for recreation of what ever you want. Interior is intact but shows storage age. Where it was at in basement some wood floor stained dripped between cracks from above and landed on drivers side of body. different whells will be provided has roller wheels.
