1968 Ford Mustang Description:

This barn find Mustang is a perfect candidate for restoration as it is a solid, 100 % original car. The car has sat since 1973 and is a one owner car. The car was bought in Florida and later brought to Michigan where it was parked in a garage and just recently brought out of storage. The car sports the original 289 2 barrel engine and automatic trans which have never been out. The engine is seized and up and will need to be rebuilt. There is absolutely no rust in the front of this car including under the battery tray as the battery was removed for storage. When the car was purchased the owner had the bottom rust proofed which is starting to flake off. That is not metal flaking off, under the rust proof is perfect metal. The only rust in this car is in the right quarter as the car may need a lower dog leg and lower rear quarter. The rust you see in the pictures is only surface rust and the panels are solid with the exception of the right quarter panel. The body is straight and the doors shut as new. The car just recently received a large dent to the right rear quarter, but that will easily bump out. I can't stress enough how unmolested this car is. It appears that the original owner added speakers to the rear trim panels, an eight track player, and a tachometer. Other than that it appears that this interior has never been touched including the rear fold down seat. All of the stainless is perfect with no dents. I know it doesn't need to said but these cars are getting harder to find unless you want one that's been worked on. This is your chance to get a solid original foundation for a factory restoration or an all out pro touring build. I am sure there will be a few questions on area that I missed so email me and I will respond back. Thanks for looking.
