For sale in our Denver showroom is a 1953 50th Anniversary Battleship Grey Ford F-350 wheat truck survivor. The Ford F-Series was redesigned by Ford for 1953 with a more integrated look. The pickups also obtained their widely familiar names: The F-1 now became the F-100, the F-2 and F-3 now became the F-250, and the F-4 now became the 1-ton F-350. Optional interior amenities were new, including a dome light, lighter, arm rests, sun visors and a radio.
This beautiful one family owner truck was special ordered in 1953. Always stored inside when not being used. And believed to be 1 of 3, 1953 50th anniversary wheat trucks ever built. As well as the last truck ever built in the Kansas City plant in 1953. With only 15,578 original miles, she was used as a wheat truck in Eastern Colorado. She has a: 215 CID straight 6 with a very cool glass fuel filter, backed by a 4 speed Synchro-Silent trans, Ford MagicAire heater, 50th anniversary steering wheel, 9' hydraulic dump bed, 18" black sideboards to use as a wheat truck, wheat tail gate, five new rims built by Les Schwab to replace the old split rims, new tires and new paint 2 years ago. A very gorgeous survivor, that is a one of a kind truck. When you hop inside you'll remember what it is like to be back in the good ol' days.
