This auction is for a 1940 Ford Standard Coupe. All Henry Ford Steel. 305 Chevrolet Small Block V-8, 350 Turbo Automatic Transmission, Dual Exhaust, 9 Inch Ford Rear. The body is in extremely nice shape and so is the undercarriage. Super nice floors, frame, braces, ect. Interior is in real nice condition. Aftermarket gaugeswere installed for better accuracy. Grill and bumpers appear new. Has new radial tires. Has nice smoked glass with new window gasketsall the way around. The car runs and handles beautifully, steering is effortless. Still has shift lever on the column but changed to automatic. Looks factory. Paint is decent but does have a few little nicks and scratches. The color reminds me of the early old hot rod magazines that had the green pages. Just looks cool. Most 40 Fords are now at unreachable prices, we are pricing this one fair for equal opportunity.
