1963 Ford Galaxie 500 Description:
1963 Ford Galaxie 500 2-door hard top, X code 352ci 2 barrel carburetor with factory A/C. Transmission was upgraded to a C6 3 speed automaticduring the car's service life. Transmission was serviced in the fall of 2019 and transitionsflawlessly.I have not engaged the A/C so cannot comment if it is operable. This Galaxie is in its original Corinthian white paint with immaculate Champaign interior.This is an unrestored car in wonderful-cruise ready condition and shows nicely.Paint has real patina on rear drivers upper quarter area only as per pictures. This area has been left "as is" to preserve the originality of the car. The rest of the paint shines but is not perfect.The engine bay is very nice and you will not hesitate to open the hood at shows. Trunk area is clean also. Please note small dent on trunk lid above theAemblem letter. Updated seat belts in front seat installed by previous owner. Right hand side mirror missing glass.The car has great stance with a pleasing tone coming from the dual exhaust. The term survivor is often thrown aroundto cars that have had significant work, this car is a true survivor and you will be pleased to present it as such. I have shown it in the Gettysburg Region AACA show in 2019, the Ford Mustangand all Ford meet in Carlisle 2019and the Hershey AACA Fallmeet. It has been a joy to show andalways garners comment.
