1972 Ford Ranchero 500 Description:

1972 Ford Ranchero 500. Originally a 351c fmx car,it now has a 460 with a c6.Dual exhaust(not loud,but nice mellow tone),mild rv cam,Weiand stealth intake manifold with a holley 750 vacuum secondary carb.Almost everything on this has been done in the last few years.New disc brakes,Master cylinder,Front suspension,including new front and rear coil springs.New American racing wheels with hankook tires.Radiator,belts,hoses,New Carpet,headliner,back panel,seat belts.Bucket seats are out of an Acura RSX.
Body and paint are okay.New windshield.Not a show car but a really nice driver.Has a spray on bedliner,plus it has the bedliner coating around the whole bottom of the car so no rock chips from the road.Has a class 3 hitch behind the fold down license plate.Rear window is a slider.Been converted to a ford duraspark electronic ignition .Also has the newer larger gas tank and sender conversion from a 74 ranchero.
The bad;power steering pump is noisy when cold but is quiet when warm.I have a rebuilt one in the box that goes with the car.The light on the dash for the right turn signal is out.The passenger door jamb button is bad so the under dash lights do not come on when opened.Works fine on the drivers side.Heater core was not hooked up when i got the car so im assuming the core is bad.
