1970 Ford F-100 Description:
Before I begin I would encourage all serious buyers to email me. Although this is a 7 day auction, I reserve the rightto end early.All the factory options you would want, big block, 4 speed manual, power brakes, power steering, short bed and air conditioner.
You are looking at a 1969 Ford F100 short box, very complete, unmolested, survivor pickup truck. Vehicle has always been in the Texas Panhandle. Vehicle has never been restored, originalpaint and patina. I bought it planning to restore it and everyone told me that with the great patina and original paint I would be crazy to restore. So I had the original paint and patina buffed and clear coated. Has some rust, it's a 50 year old truck that is a true survivor. Mostly the rust in on the underside. The tailgate has some charicater dings on it which I think looks good for a survivor pickup. Starts right up after setting for a few months
Mechanical:
* Factory original 360 V-8 montor with original manual transmission on the floor, recent motor overhaul.
* Factory Power Brakes
* Factory Power Steering
* Factory Air Conditioner (I have been told that factory air conditioner was not an option that it is actually a dealer installed option)
*Factory AM/FM radio and 8 Track Tape Player still in place, not working it lights up but no sound I'm not sure if there is a speaker.
Interior:
* Recently recovered seat
* Recently replaced vinyl door panels
* All glass good, windshield has some discoloration around the edges
* Overall interior in good shape
Exterior:
* Complete exterior, all Ranger trim in place.
* Body straight, no major dents or dings, doors open and close properly. Tail gate still in good condition, latches fine.
* Inside of bed coated
In closing, this truck is best described as an original driver, neverhacked up. In my opinion, I would leave it as is and just enjoy it.
