This car was essentially a follow-up tothe 7-Up Mustang from two years prior. It included the same white leather interior with black contrast stitching and white power convertible top.
Technically referred to as the 1992 Vibrant Red Mustang LX 5.0 Limited Edition Convertible-" Summer Edition" Carpet is in excellent condition, interior is soft and no tears, no cracks in dash, clear windshield - Car runs and drives Excellent. This car does not need much to be perfect! Extended Chrome Exhaust. NON SMOKER!
Top needs to be replace, motor still operable but needs new top and hydraulic repair ( glass is still good) TOP WILL NOT LOCK WILL NEED REPAI, A/C has just been replaced with new compressor and drier, paint is in excellent shape, in process of having minor touch ups done- body is perfect! There is no rust and no leaks under car, cv boots are good rubber. Minor wear on the steering wheel but it is getting repaired. This car runs and shifts excellent! Trunk and ignition key. Wheels will be powder coated this week and look like new. Trim missing around radio has been ordered and will be repaired shortly. Trunk is very clean with original boot for top including case but i have also ordered a brand new boot.. New BF Goodrich 225/55/ZR16 Tires. It may take me a few weeks to finish everything but i will update pictures as complete.
'92 Limited Edition Mustang 5.0L LX Convertible
In 1992 Ford built 2,193 Mustangs that were "Summer Edition" Mustangs. These cars were all painted Vibrant Red, including the body moldings and trim that was black on regular Mustangs. The interiors were all white leather with black piping on the seats. pearl white powder coated 16" Pearlescent Pony wheels, and the trunk lid spoiler with no luggage rack, white door panels, ebony interior components including map pockets and a white top. 302 H.O. V8 engine with 225 hp and 300 lb-ft of torque. Drivers could select either a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission.
This classic 1992 Mustang LX 5.0 Summer Special rolled off the assembly line 27 years ago.Ford produced only 2193 code 1FACP44E making this Mustang a very collectible fox body original.
