1956 Ford Crown Victoria Crown Victoria Description:

1956 Ford Fairlane Victoria converted to Crown Victoria using all original Crown Parts. It has the Ford Dealer optional Continental Kit and aftermarket Bumper bar Kits Front and Rear. It has Mercury Chrome Door and Quarter Window Moldings in place of the normal Painted Moldings.
This is an older body restoration and modification using the original Golden glow Yellow and Colonial White exterior, Black and White Interior, and all the Correct Crown Victoria Interior/Exterior Trim. Very solid body throughout, Rear quarter panels were replaced during restoration, all other main body panels and frame are in very good condition. Front suspension cross member is also solid. Recent mechanical work includes replacement of the tail pipes from the mufflers back and new through the bumper exhaust collectors.
New Fuel Tank, Lines, and 4 wheel Cylinders, New Overdrive wiring harness.
Tires are original style bias ply and are showing cracks from age, These would need replaced if you plan to drive long distances.
Engine runs well with no abnormal noises or smoke, Transmission has very slight gear clash when shifted into 3rd gear, if shifted quickly, so The 3rd gear synchronizer is starting to get tired.
All interior and exterior lighting are working, as well as the horn, instrument gauges and Vacuum Windshield wipers. Note: Clock and Town and Country radio are currently NOT working.
