As a long time fan of Robocop ever since I was a kid I wanted to own his car. I always hated that they used a LX Taurus for the movies, I decided to build a car that Robo could be proud of and based it on a 1990 Taurus SHO which is a far superior car. This was a work of love both by a car enthusiast as well as a movie fan and I can safely say that is the cleanest, nicest OCP cruiser ever built and likely one of the cleanest SHO's on the road. In addition it was autographed by Robocop himself, Peter Weller at Megacon in Orlando, FL.
I went through great expense and time to build this car and you will find no dissapointments. Fly in and drive it anywhere, it has been thoroughly restored inside and out!
First, the body has over 100 hours spent just on blocking and prep work, plus it has 6 coats of Hot Rod Flatz satin black laid on it and has also been ceramic coated. It is a show quality finish that cost over $3500 just for the paint work! (in other words, the starting bid is less than the paint cost!!)
