This classic NUMBERS MATCHING Mustang boasts a 302 V8 with 2-barrel carburetor power plant tucked neatly under the hood. The bottom of the engine is very dry with no obvious leaks. The back of the 3-speed manual transmission has very minor evidence of seepage. The rear differential is dry with no leaks and the fuel tank is in good shape. The right side floor pan has been replaced and in excellent condition. The front frame rails are in great shape and the rear frame has only surface rust on it that can easily be cleaned.

Now for the details…the left floor pan will need to be replaced or repaired due to a 3” hole in the driver’s floorboard (the rear tub looks in good condition). The bottom of both front shock towers are in “good to fair” condition with only a little rust noted around the base of each side. There is a small hole in the right inner rocker (see photo). The trunk pan is compromised on the left side due to rust. There is pitting noted on the convertible top rear trim and side mirrors. The convertible top has a few small holes in it. The bucket seats and interior are in “fair” condition, but there is plenty left to work with for a recovering and refreshing of most components. The front, right fender has a small ding, but for the most part the sheet metal is very straight and in very good condition.

Sale of the car comes with the original spare tire and jack set in the trunk. Both chrome bumpers are in great condition without pitting or damage. Original drum brakes and clear lenses for all lights are a few features that make this car worth your time.
