I have decided to list my 70 mustang convertible for sale, this is a clean driver condition mustang! So if your looking for a show winning spotless trailer queen mustang, it's not for you!! This car has paint chips and door dings, few flaws in the interior ( all listed below ). It makes a great daily driver or weekend driver. With some TLC it could be a show car again!
Body: 1970 Ford Mustang factory convertible, 0 rust straight body with few paint chips and door dings ( factory rear spoiler and front lower spoiler ). 351 Mach 1 hood scoop.
Convertible top: new 2 years ago ( everything works )
Engine : late 60's 302 4v with a 600cfm carb, aluminum Mustang valve covers. (Around 35k miles on the engine / tranny. ( original 6cy. Mustang )
Transmission: rebuilt c4 automatic ( around 35k miles on the c4.
exhaust: new duel exhaust with turbo style mufflers. ( sounds great but not too loud )
Wheels / tires. Factory ford chrome magnum 500 wheels. And BFG tires ( at 75%- 80% tread left )
Brakes : all factory: been serviced and new pads.
Interior: all stock style interior ( high back Mach 1 seats ). Aftermarket steering wheel. Rip in right front seat, cracks in dash pad, could use new carpet and door panels.
Overall condition: what you see is what you get! This is a clean rust free 1970 mustang convertible, never any major body damage or repairs! It's RUST FREE! And drives down the road very nice, EVERYTHING WORKS!! Back story on this cars is : Texas car, previous owner bought in Tx and brought it to Colorado, did a light restore about 8-10 years ago, and used it for weekend drives / car shows. He told me he daily drove this mustang in 2015-2016. I bought the car to build into a protouring mustang, but I have a lead for a big block Mach 1. So I'm freeing up cash and space!! You must pick the car up or ship it yourself, I'll help as much as possible. This car runs and drives very nice around town! I DON'T RECOMMEND Driving this across the states to get home. (Could use a tune up)
