I've decided to offer up my 1986 Mustang convertible just in time for the fall car show season. I don't consider this a "show car" but it is a very, very nice driver. The paint and top are about two years old and still look very good. The paint is Kirker 2K single stage urethane and looks very good overall with a few small flaws. The interior is about a year old and seat covers were custom made for the car and as you can see, just about everything is new or refurbished. The factory pony wheels are sporting tires will less than 100 miles on them, mileage will go up slightly as I am taking the car to local shows. The body has a complete factory 87-93 GT kit installed and fitted with aftermarket one piece headlights, LX tail lights, and an aftermarket rear spoiler. The car has no outer body rust or structural rust, it did have two small spots in the front floor pans repaired in the past.This car started life as a v6 LX convertible and has been converted to a 5.0 carburetored engine backed by a C4 transmission. I was not the engine builder so I do not know the cam profile or other specs on the engine, engine serial number puts it as a 90s HO and the cam profile is the early firing order but again, I do not know the specs. The carb is a 600 Holley with a fresh rebuild, distributor, coil, voltage regulator, MDS box on and on are new within the last year as well as the 3-row aluminum radiator, water pump, heater core, alternator, steering rack and power steering pump, the list goes on and on. It also has a full aluminized dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers. The brake system was also rebuilt including new master cylinder, front rotors, calipers, all rubber lines and some of the steel lines. Anything that was suspect has been replaced or rebuilt on this car. This car is ready to drive and needs nothing that I am aware of.As with any older vehicle, this car is sold "AS IS" where is and there is NO warranty of any kind expressed of implied. Buyer will pay a 500 nonrefundable deposit within 48 hours of the auction close and is responsible for all shipping charges. I am willing to store the car for a reasonable amount of time and will work with the buyer and carrier to get the car delivered but again, all charges are the buyers responsibility.
