1965 Mustang Fastback Shelby Tribute
This is a factory Mustang fastback. And it is a "C" Code Which means it came with a 289 Engine and a 2bbl carb from the factory. Since then the car has been restored. it went thru restoration 12 years ago and has been finished for 11 years. The motor is the factory 289 Engine With shorty headers a 4Bbl carb and a beautiful set of edelbrock performer aluminum heads. Car also has Power 4 wheel disc breaks and has a upgraded T5 BorgWarner Transmission. The clutch is also stock also has a 3 core aluminum radiator and keeps this motor cool!! She runs about 160 degrees in 100 degree heat. The Drivetrain Has around 30,000 miles on it. ( We took it to lots of car shows ) and is being driven daily. Car is currently registered and holds a Clean title. All the body panels are original and rust free!! Except for the floorpans. passenger and driverside has both been replaced by a professional. The Paint job looks great and is very representable But isn't a showcar. I wanted to drive this car and didn't wanna worry about it. don't get me wrong tho paint is still very nice for a 11 year old paintjob. Car has Shelby gt350 Wheels that cost me a pretty penny.. Here is what is included in the Shelby package.. Wheels tires, cobra steering wheel, Shelby Fiberglass Trunklid, And Shelby racing stripes! And billet grill, Shelby Cobra gas cap,Also the front and back bumpers have been powder coated to match the car. The interior pretty much speaks for it self. The front and back seat Are from a foxbody mustang and there in excellent condition. no rips or tears at all! Also has a Hurst 5 Speed shifter, and also has a repo mustang stereo that works and sounds great. But personally I never listen to it because I love to listen to the motor roar. All headlights and blinkers work all doors and windows open and close like they should. heres the bad! The speedometer and gas gauge do not work. and ive never looked in to fixing them im sure its a simple fix just don't have the time at the moment. and also on the driver side theres a molding strip that just fell off on the freeway. (sorry I don't have a better picture of it)
