1969 Ford Mustang Grande Description:
I have a survivor 1969 Mustang Grande. It has original paint and interior items. It will need a lot a work to restore but not many cars have original paint. Minor rust in the normal places. The worst is on the driver side floor. It will need part of the floor replaced and a new trunk lid. The rest has rust scale and should clean up. I don't believe it has any accident damage other than the front of the hood.It is a rare color combination (272) with Meadowlark Yellow and Nugget Gold Cloth/Vinyl Grande interior. I have the Marti report. The original engine was seized when I got the car. I took it out and disassembled it. The VIN is stamped on the block. I do not believe the engine has ever been touched. It was missing the carburetor when I received it. It will need a rebuild and two main caps replaced.
The roof has heavy rust scale but should be repairable to put another vinyl roof back on the car (standard Grande feature). It has Mach1 interior items such as clock, woodgrain dash and door panels. TMI makes an exact replacement interior upholstery for this car. I received a sample after calling them.
It has PS, AC, tinted glass, AM radio, 8" rear end 2.79 and C4 auto.
This would make a great restoration project or rebuild the engine and interior and drive as a survivor.
