For sale is a 1968 convertible six cylinder Mustang. It has been owned by the same two families for the last 25 years. Dependable running and driving car.The following items have been replaced or upgraded within the last 500 miles; New disc brake conversion kit including power brake booster and new master cylinder, new wheel bearings, pads calipers and rotors, new radiator, new PerTronix ignition, four new tires, new voltage regulator, rebuilt original carburetor. Also, Recently replaced the oil pan gasket and rear main seal.All of the brake lights, headlights, turn signals, high-beams, back up lights, wind shied wiper motor etc. are working properly. Additionally, the power top goes up and down as it should.

All three of my children drove this car through high school so I needed it to be a dependable vehicle mechanically speaking.

From a body and paint position it is had one repaint from its factory original yellow color. It has never been wrecked. However it is a convertible Ford Mustang and it does have rust in the usual Ford places. The rear wheel wells are starting to bubble up and the torque boxes will need a patch or repair as well.Im sure when you get into it it will need all the usual convertible Mustang repairs although I think that this one is better than most. The convertible top obviously will need to be replaced but I waited to do so as I was going to do a restoration to the body and paint first.

If you're looking for a car that you can drive while restoring the body and paint this is a good car to start with. If you're looking to do a concourse restoration on a convertible 1968 Mustang this is a all original never wrecked car. I have collected some parts to assist in that restoration and they will go with the car. Mostly trim pieces and an inner rocker panel and an extra six cylinder mustang engine. The motor was running when we took it out 20 years ago it is just extra and free for the taking. It will come with the car if the new owner wants to have the extra parts.I also have a complete three speed manual trans set up including factory bell housing fly wheel, pressure plat, throw out bearing, clutch disk three speed factory transmission with factory shifter to go with the car. Clutch is in really good condition... all the other parts are factory original Ford parts.
