1963 Ford Fairlane Description:

This has the original 260 V8 engine with the original transmission. This was not a barn find or a vehicle that sat in a corn field through the years. I have owned this vehicle for 40 years, it was purchased when I was 16 and has not been driven in snow or rain for the entire time I have owned it. I purchased it from my great uncle. It was purchased originally from John Markel Ford in Omaha and I have some of the original paperwork that John Markel himself signed. All of the windows and seats are original and have never been replaced. The trim is all original and the front and rear bumpers are original but have been re-chromed. It also has the original headliner which looks brand new with no tears. It has 87500 original miles. It is definitely a great looking car and every time I drive it people stop to take a look or give a thumbs up. As nice as it looks, I have never had the inside redone. It has been garaged 99% of the time, it is almost completely original down to the original hubcaps. It was repainted the original sky blue with white top 10 years ag, the tires have been replaced and have less than 1000 miles on them. If you need any additional pics please call the seller. I have added a video on you tube of the underside of this vehicle. You can find it on you tube under " underside of 1963 Ford Fairlane". I have also had many questions asked which I was unaware to look for questions since this is the first vehicle I have ever sold on ebay. I will add that the transmission and engine were rebuilt 10 years ago. (rings, bearings and piston rods were replaced) The fuel tank was drained and a new fuel pump was installed at that time also. The brakes were replaced and new brake lines were installed. The underside of the vehicle was undercoated also at that time. If anyone would like to speak to the mechanic that did that work then give me a call and I will give you his number.
