1951 Ford F-100 Description:
Running driving project. I want to clarify truck is titled as a 1951 but has a 1950 cab. Not sure why builder done this or if it may have been a late Ford build titled as 1951 if that is something even done back then. Either way it has a legal Florida title and the odd vin number was verified by the Florida BMV as being correct. They informed us that prior to 1955 there was no standardized VIN on the trucks, it could vary. I just want to be TOTALLY CLEAR on this that we have looked into it and that was the information provided to us by the state of Florida. That is all I can tell you.Onto the rest. I am listing this for my parents they live in Florida and that is where the truck is located at their home in Fernandina Beach, FL 32034.The truck is set up on a 1991 Crown Vic front frame tied to a f150 rear frame section with 8.8 rearend. The job was done nice not a cobble job. Its just a rattle can paint job previous owner had applied. Fenders had minor dings on front that we repairedand primed. Primer on running boards was applied to cover light paint coat letting metal be exposed, but the runner boards are new. Doors and fenders are solid. Cab floors were patched over by previous owner and as it is ok I would weld in a pan on foot spots. But is very solid as is just not how I would do it.Turn signals do not workNeeds O2 sensors to control mixture. runs rich on start up causing little smoke and does same when stepping on it at first.No wipers or motorNo heat or blower motorSteering column will not release key (pretty sure there is a button to push but cant find it)Has negative camber on front needs to be adjusted. I believe this was done for a stance look because the truck handles great. Just a personal preference I would correct it.
Truck is a cool running driving project. Common sense applies here, it is not a 2019 truck. $500 deposit required at the end of auction via Paypal, remaining balance cash in person and done at a local bank to verify bills.I will not ship. Selling due to being faced with back surgery is the only reason.
