Vehicle professionally appraisal done 2011. This vehicle has been garage kept and only 70 miles since appraised.
Engine: The engine and engine compartment are in fine condition. It has the original 289ci 4.7L Windsor V-8 engine with a new Edelbrock high-rise intake manifold, 4 barrel carburetor and chrome performance Edelbrock air filter. The hang-on units, ignition, electrical systems are original and in excellent condition.
Chassis: The chassis is in good condition. The undercarriage shows some wear and road grime but overall condition is clean. The front and rear floor pans are in excellent condition. The transmission is the original Cruise-O-Matic 3 speed transmission. The rear end and differential are original and in very good condition. The front suspension is independent ball joint with coil springs in good condition. The rear suspension is the original parallel leaf springs. The dual exhaust system is of the original type an is in excellent condition showing no signs of leakage.The power assisted brake system is the original dual hydraulic with front disk and rear Drum brakes. The wheels are 14 inch with B.F. Goodrich Radial T/A P195/70R14 in good condition. The front and rear bumpers are in excellent condition.
Interior: The interior is in very good condition. The dash, dash pad, gauges and instruments are original and in very good condition. There is some paint missing between the speedometer and the oil pressure/alternator gauges. The steering wheel and steering column are original and in fine condition. The foot petals are in good condition. The bucket seats, rear seat, door panels and rear seat side panels are like new. The carpet is in good condition. All the interior chrome is present and like new. The window glass, weather stripping and window seals are in excellent condition. The convertible top is of the correct material, and fits beautifully to the body of the vehicle.The interior of the trunk is original and is in very good condition.
Exterior: The exterior is in very good condition. The hood has reverse louvers with turn signal indicators housed within. The original paint has a beautiful luster with a few small paint spots poorly touched up on the trunk lid under the chrome luggage rack. The doors, hood and trunk lid fit perfectly to the body of the vehicle. The body lines are straight showing no signs of dents or waves. All the exterior chrome is present and in excellent condition. The lamps in the headlights are correct for the vehicle and are in excellent condition.
