1972 Ford Mustang Description:

1972 Mustang Convertible – Time Capsule. First time offered for your consideration. Purchased new by my mother July 31st, 1972 from Charlie Rossie Ford – Scottsdale Arizona. Receipts and Documents included. Even her driver’s gloves remain in the center console along with Mustang badges that she wished to install on the body.

The Mustangis equipped with the original 351 Cleveland engine, automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, front disc brakes, and air-conditioning.

The carhas been drivenonly 44,367 actual miles. Many of those miles accumulated traveling Historic Route 60 and Route 66 from Phoenix to Illinois and back. She installed the Cobra CB radio for added safety during those trips.

I acquired the car with her passing in 1996, drove the car home to Illinois in March of 1996 and it has remained in climate controlled storage since.

In addition to normal maintenance, I have installed rear brakes, front disc axle, bearings, rotors, pads, calipers, hoses, fuel pump, heater core, fuel tank, sending unit, Magnum 500 wheels and BF Goodrich radial TA tires.
