Offered from my personal collection in my opinion the best 1966 Ford Mustang convertible I have ever owned. 1966 Ford Mustang convertible 200ci 6 cylinder with factory 4 speed manual transmission. In 1966 the typical 6 cylinder mustang came standard with a 3 speed manual or automatic transmission. This particular example has the English Daganham 4 speed manual transmission. I have been collecting Mustangs for 40 years and this is the first one I have ever owned like it. What we have is a very nicely equippedcar suitable for a collection, show or even an everyday driver depending on where you live. The car has the 4 speed manual, factory air conditioning,power convertible top,day/night mirror,tinted glass, Am radio and spinner hubcaps. The engine starts easily and runs smooth and quiet with no smoke or noises and at a cool temperature even with the A/C on in South Florida traffic. I believe this car is a 58000 original mile car and although I have no documentation to this I do have all of the original delivery pamphlet papers and warranty card and book. The car is finished in its factory color code U Tahoe turquoise color with black bucket seat interior and white power convertible top. The clutch works properly with no slippage or chatter. The transmission shifts as it should easy,smoothly and quietly with no grinding or binding. The brakes stop straight and on a dime. The steering and suspension is tight and responsive. This car feels and handles as it did back in 1966. The factory A/C works as it should and cools the car well. Over all driving this car is a pleasure. The body and chassis are in excellentcondition and are absolutelyrust and damage free. The doors,hood and trunk have proper gaps and all open and close as the should.All the weather stripping is new as are the radial white wall tires. In my opinion this car's paint finish is a solid 9 out of 10. There is little to do on this car other than enjoy it. The factory color of Tahoe turquoise is absolutely stunning and the equipment on this car make it one my favorite cars I have owned.
