1979 Ford F-150 Ranger XLT Trailer Special Description:

This truck runs great! It fires up every time and the engine sounds smooth. This is a head-turner with nice patina. Under 103,000 original miles on it.
Original 351M and 4x4 automatic transmission, all original engine parts (aside from the electronic ignition), front disc breaks, factory A/C (functioning), 4x4, moonroof, locking hood, and the trailer special package which includes; tow package,trailer break,power steering, power breaks, dual piston front calipers, larger rear drum breaks, heavier rear suspension, larger radiator, and transmission cooler. Plenty of life left on the tires all the way around.
I have most of the history from the 1st owner to me. I will also throw in a shop manual.
The body is straight. I removed all of the body molding and badging a few years back because I was going to do a full restore. Life got in the way so I never got to it. I have all the molding and badging for the truck (see pics).
Smogged and ready to go. This trucks runs like a top and can be someones daily driver, but is setup perfectly for a full restore.

-New seat belts for driver and side passenger (within the last year)-Rebuilt distributor (within the last 2 years)
-New battery (within in the last 2 years)
-New break lines (3 years ago)
-New starter (3 years ago)
-New exhaust (roughly 7 years ago)
-New tinted rear slider window (roughly 7 years ago)
Issues:
-The moonroof needs resealed. I currently have it sealed off with marine calking to stop the leaking
-Needs a new heater core. The heater core is currently bypassed so the truck still runs great.
-Interior needs to be done
-Dash lights work sporadically-Some surface rust, but no rot
