Here for your consideration is a 1978 Ford Mustang Cobra II. The combination of black with green billboard graphics is very rare and original as documented by the Marti report. This is a running, driving car that needs restoration. It is a very solid car with the worst rust being on the lower front corner of the passenger door as pictured. excellent floors and no structure rust. I have driven the car only enough to verify that the brakes work, it doesn't overheat, and the transmission shifts properly. The tires have good tread but are old, so it is questionable whether it should be driven long distance prior to new tires being installed. The buck tag and the Marti report verify that this is an original Cobra II and the car is equipped as it was when new. The previous owner got the car from her mother, who bought the car new. She stated to me that the mileage showing is original, but I have no proof of that and doubt it in my own mind. Interior condition looks like it is a low mileage car. The previous owner also had the seats covered in the cloth material pictured. She said the black vinyl was too hot. I am selling this car as is with no warranty. You are welcome to come see and inspect the car, however, I will be out of town Thursday through Sunday, so plan accordingly.I require payment within 7 days of auction's end.
