-The below info was all done in the re-build finished in 2006. -
*Over 1,500 hours invested in re-build.
* The paint job is unbelievable. Painters used over 2 gallons of paint and one gallon of clear coat. This is about the best you can get! Everything on this build was done the right way.
*The original flathead was rebuilt and run on a Dyno for two hours before the motor was installed, so it is already dialed in and runs great. The transmission is an original 1939 with the very sought after "Swan Stick" shifter.
*The transmission and the clutch have both been rebuilt with all new bearings and seals.
*The carburetor is an old Stromberg 97 that has been professionally rebuilt and dialed in.
*The motor was converted to 12volts with a new alternator from Speedway Motors.
*A new Mallory Dual point distributor was added for that extra spark.
*The wiring has been updated with a 21-fuse harness form EZ wiring.
*A custom dual exhaust with V8 deflectors was added for that famous flathead sound.
*The radiator was re-cored with a new one and an electric fan was added to the front, just for safety. Also, installed 2 new Speedway water pumps.
*Entire suspension has been rebuilt and upgraded with Pete & Jakes shocks and shock mounts for better handling. Front and read have been lowered 3 inches giving this truck the perfect stance. All tie rod ends, bearings and bushings have been replaced on this entire truck; the front end has been professionally aligned and drives straight as an arrow. The steering box has also been rebuilt.
*All of the brake components are new- master cylinder, 4 slave cylinders, and brake lines are all new. The drums and shoes are also new.
*The rear-end was rebuilt with 4:11 gears; all new seals and bearings.
*The frame has been stripped and painted grey.
*The wheels are from Coker Tire, and it has a new set of radial tires.
*The caps and rings are also new.
*The gauges were professionally rebuilt originals. 6-volt reducers were added.
*Fuel system has been updated with an electric fuel pump and regulator valve.
*The tank was sealed and new fuel lines were run.
*The steering wheel was replaced with a new 1939 Banjo-type wheel.
*The seat is from Glide Engineering and covered in red and white leather tuck and roll. These seats are so soft and have a back lumbar support for added comfort.
*Gator Guard II (bed liner) was sprayed inside the cab and underneath the entire truck for sound proofing and protection.
*One full case of Cyna Matt was used on the inside of the truck to deaden sound.
*All of the glass has been replaced.
*New electric windows were also added.
*The bed is new and made of solid oak with stainless straps.
*All of the sheet metal is original except for the bed.
*The steel bed is new and cost $4,000 with a new tailgate.
*Both of the bumpers are new with new brackets.
*The rear bumper is razor cut with the Ford and a brake light behind it.
*An AH-O-O-O-O-Gah horn was added for kicks.
