1987 Ford Mustang LX Description:

I am selling this Mustang for an older friend. He is the original owner. He bought it new from Fall Mountain Motors in Westminster VT, special orderingit with few options. He stored it winters and rarely drove it. A few years ago he gave it to his son...who then did some mods to it. Battery in trunk, changed from speed density to mass air flow intake, Cowl hood, sub frame connectors, lowering springs, strut tower brace and more. In the process of the modifications there was a very minor engine compartment fire that damaged the hood. The owner then repainted the entire car. It was done right with windows and trim removed. IMO.. the clear-coatis a bit to heavy...but it is nice and there is no rust...top or bottom. It runs and drives very well. Heater is inoperative. There are a few nicks, chips and scratches, but car shows quite well. Quarter window trim (like New) and body trim moldings are excellent..!
It has factory vinyl seats and NO A/C. Aftermarket radio. Interior is clean with no rips. carpet is good. Headliner has two nicks and a small tear. Glass is good. See photos. Last three photos show worst paint flaws.
It is a very SOLID car with LOTS of potential...and it is a real, low optioned, 57,000 mile, 5.0L, 5 speed Mustang coupe..! And a clean Carfax Report!
It needs someone to take the car to the next level as a lot of the basics are done. One could even put it back to stock if desired.
