1970 Ford Torino Description:

You Are Bidding on a 1970 Ford Torino GT with a "non numbers-matching" 429 c.i. engine and C6 automatic transmission and 3.0 ratio 9 inch rear end (the 429 is a 1970 date coded engine and transmission though). This is a real Torino GT that originally came with a 302 4 barrel from the factory which I do not have that was removed and converted years ago, and this is how I purchased the car. It runs great and is a very strong running car that shifts perfect. It is an all black body with black bucket seat interior with Console and automatic shifter on the floor. It has power steering and power disc brakes, full duel exhaust to the rear. All the glass is good with no cracks and the chrome is in nice, driver-quality shape. The car is hop-in and turn-key needing nothing mechanically and is used from time to time in the summer for car shows and cruise-ins. This Is Not A Show-quality car, but a nice driver-quality as it is. The paint is showing its age in a few spots, but the body is straight and solid with no rust or rot. Prior to me getting the car the front floors have had patches put on both sides, the rears look in good original shape, and the trunk floors have had a couple metal patches put in, but is mostly original. The frame is in excellent original shape.As mentioned, this is a nice driver-quality car as-is, or would make an easy candidate to make into a show car.
