1960 F600 Ford Farm Truck Survivor

1960 Ford F-550 F600 Farm Truck Description:

This truck is 59 yrs old and in very good condition. I believe the cab, hood, fenders and doors have never been painted. The wood bed is in great shape. We did paint the bed frame and the outside frame rails and the doors signs. The motor is the original 292 starts and runs fine but I believe it has never been rebuilt.This motor is a little tired as I don't believe anything has ever been don't to it. Does not smoke. These trucks were not build for speed. They had low gears and just did not go real fast.I did put on the new rims and tires, new radiator, fuel pump, master cylinder and booster and the wood side rails. I have the old wood high side grain bed sides and the oil bath air filter. the seat cover, headliner, floor mat and everything else is original. This truck is original and as original as asurvivor can get. We believe the miles to be original. Always stored inside. Old Kansas farm trucks basically stayed in the shed all year until harvest time and never went out in the rain or snow. That is just how this one looks. There is a dent on the headlight cowling and a few small dents in the passenger door probably from someone jamming up the mirror. No rust or flakey bodywork anywhere.
