1957 Ford Ranchero Description:

This 1957 Ford Ranchero is one of the 15,277 Ford's first hybrid car-trucks built. It makes you wonder how many have survived. This beauty is 62 years young !! It has had a complete restoration 11 years ago and still is in excellent condition. This car has been stored in a climate controlled garage the entire time. It has it's original numbers matching 292 Y-block V-8 engine. It's original 3 speed on the tree transmission. They were both meticulously rebuilt to original standards. Also, the rear end is original and was restored with the rest of the drive train. It runs fantastic, stops on a dime, and turns heads left and right!! It was completely stripped down to the bare metal. Then it was epoxy primed and painted with ppg paint, base coat, clear coat. The colors are 1992 Corvette Blue Metallic on the bottom and 1998 Mercedes Silver Metallic on top. The bed of the truck was refinished with a black Rhino coating. The interior was tastefully finished in a stock black vinyl which looks incredible. All the stainless steel was professionally polished to bring back the original beauty of the 1957 era. The tires are brand new on new steel wheels with refurbished 1957 hubcaps. This truck is a driven show winner because of its dependability--not a trailer queen.
