1967 Ford Mustang Convertible Description:

This rust free, near show quality, 1967 Ford Mustang GT Convertible creation is the ultimate dream car. It is LOADED with options and new parts to make it a driving experience. The HI-PO spec 289 cu in 4 speed posi drivetrain with less than 5000 miles on it makes this car a quick, reliable and fun car. Easy starting and very quiet as far as convertible rattles and wind noise goes. A lot of effort was made to keep this car stock.
PAINT & BODY
The Raven black base/clear paint on this car is of high quality. The car is straight as an arrow as all black cars should be. The trunk and under hood areas are all painted correctly. the undercarriage is painted in both red oxide and black as it should be. There are a couple small chips which were touched up but do not retract. A professional detailing to this paint would bring the car to show quality. I believe it to be an all original panel car. I'm sure the car used to build this custom was the perfect donor. All the chrome is new or like-new condition. The car has all GT equipment options, driver's rear mounted antenna, lower back panel ribbed applique, rocker and wheel trim moldings, dual mirrors, deluxe turn signal hood, fog lights, brand new convertible power top with split window glass which operates perfectly, the list goes on.
INTERIOR
As you can see from the photos the interior is flawless. Probably my favorite Mustang interior is the deluxe 1967 interior in red. The brushed aluminum accents with the bright red are stunning. No rips or tears in the seats, even the molded seat backs are not cracked and are complete. All glass is great and operate as they should. As you get in this car you'll notice the very clean door jams as well as the chrome sill plate extenders. You can tuck right in easily with the tilt-away deluxe wood steering wheel. Your Convenience Group Lights in the beautiful center console will tell you to put on your deluxe seat belt, if you're door is still open, if you're low on fuel, or if your functioning parking brake is still engaged, COOL! Speaking of cool, you can turn on the ice cold A/C and then power the new top down. The sun visors, deluxe door panels, dash pad, carpet are all like new. This car fires right up with its electronic ignition and you can rev up the newly rebuilt 8000rpm tach. Instrument cluster also has the clock option (not working). This car also has power steering, power front disc brakes. Mustang is equipped with a factory stereo/8=track player which recently stopped working. there are some 8-tracks in the console door. The very rare Cruise Control option is on this car but currently is not completely hooked up. The 4 speed shifter with reverse lock out and wood shifter knob and the clutch works great.The trunk is also highly detailed in paintwork, trunk mats, new taillights, matching spare and jack. The pressboard panels that cover the trunk drop offs are there. The body matched rear applique tail panel cover looks awesome
MOTOR AND DRIVETRAIN
The 289 engine was built to HI-PO specs. What exactly was done I do not know nor have receipts for. The engine runs strong and detailed nicely with black crinkle Cobra valve covers and oval air cleaner. 4 bbl carb and aftermarket intake manifold. no leaks. runs cool. A MSD electronic ignition box is hidden iunder the washer fluid bag. The engine compartment is detailed with assembly line inspection stamps and markings. Clear VIN and no rust anywhere. Power steering pump and A/C compressor nice and quiet. 4 speed top loader shifts like a dream. 8" rear end equipped with posi-traction.
WHEELS AND BRAKES
Car has newer factory correct for 1967 Styled Steel wheels that are in great condition. No dents in trim rings. BF Goodrich red wall tires size 215/70/14. Like new. Even the spare is a matching rim and tire! Front disc power brakes car stops evenly with plenty of pedal. Parking brake in good working order.

I'm listing this for a friend of mine who hasn't had it long. The former owner has past away and car was purchased from his widow. The title is clear, will include Marti report and what receipts came with the car.
