1979 Ford F-350 CUSTOM Camper/Trailer Special Description:

This is a 1979 F-350 CUSTOM
This has the rare 140in wheel base. It was originally either a "Camper Special" or "Trailer Special." If there was original badging designating that, it has been lost.
This truck underwent a full frame off restoration several years ago. However, it was sold and not taken care of real well after that restoration.Some of the Paint/Body work is showing signs of needing taken care of again.In the pictures you'll see some bubbles in the paint on the cab over the drivers door, and on the door where the mirror is mounted. There is also a spot on the bottom inside of the passenger door where the paint is gone and has left a rusty "scab." You can also see from the pictures that there are other small blemishes on the truck, scratches and dings, and the clear coat in areas is peeling.
You can also see from the pictures that the doors and the cab corners are solid. It sounds like a new truck when you close the doors.
Has Factory A/C, currently not working, and Tilt Column.
The truck runs and drives great! With a mildly built engine. 429ci Big Block +.030 over and mild cam. Holley Avenger Series Carburetor, Long Tube Coated Headers and Flowmaster Mufflers. C6 Transmission with a mild stall converter.
