The equipment on this car includes the following items SS wheels that are in fantastic condition, red GT stripe and badges, non-power drum brake, console with factory A/C plus dual exhaust and AM-FM stereo . Check the door tag and you will see all the information checks out. And, it is one of the rare "A" Code 289's built with 4 BBL carb from the factory. Also, it has something really unique; please look at the pictures of the underside and you will see one of the first COBRA oil pans built. Notice how the fins on the bottom of the pan does not go all the way across like they do now. Very cool to say the least!!

Please look at the pictures of the interior of the car. The interior is in fantastic condition. I really do not see anything that I would do to it to make it better. The steering wheel is NOT cracked as they normally are. The A/C is really nicely detailed and it has restored face plate and new A/C vents. The A/C will freeze you out of the car!! We actually have changed out the AM radio with an AM/FM Cassette that fits into the original holes so you do not have to modify the dash. I would like you to notice the incredibly rare floor mats that were available in 1965 and 1966. It is most unusual for these to still be with the car.

Now, look at how nicely the engine compartment is detailed. Almost all of the bolts have been bead blasted and repainted and re-installed. Proper decals have been placed in the appropriate places. And, to top it off the Auto Lite battery cover has been installed to add to the factory look. Please notice the FOMOCO washer bag and the optional dress-up chrome valve covers which add to the overall fastidious look of the engine compartment. Take this baby to a car show,, park it, lift open the hood on the car and watch the people faces as they see your incredibly detailed engine compartment. What a feeling that is!!

The paint on the car is probably 20 to 30 years old and consequently you can see imperfections in the paint. When you see the car from a distance, everything looks good. But, up close you see them. Please look and see how nice and straight the body is and how all the gaps are the way they should be.

As you can see by the pictures of the underside of the car, the floors and frame of the car are in unbelievable condition with NO RUST. Everywhere you look they are extremely nice. Also, do not forget how nice the underside of the doors are on this car. They are phenominal!!

In summary, what you have here is one of the most desirable color combination offered by Ford, phenomenal looking engine compartment, a very clean underside with NO rust. The trunk compartment is all detailed out correctly with proper trunk decal and spare tire qith the correct jack also. This really nice Mustang drives great and when you "stomp it”, it runs extremely fast. Don't miss this one!! I am not sure when I will get another one that is this color combination and rust-free body and underside!!
