1972 FORD MUSTANG FASTBACK

1972 Ford Mustang Description:

1972 Ford Mustang Fastback with original 351 Cleveland, power steering, automatic transmission and 9 inch rearend. Car was originally red and has had one repaint to current blue. Factory tach and gauge cluster. Carpet and dash are nice. Drivers seat not bad but the passenger seat needs reupholstered. Needs a new headliner. All glass is good. Car starts, runs and drives good. Don't know much about the car, but would not consider it road worthy as it has been setting for a long time and the tires are old and maybe needs a tuneup. Someone just needs to go through and check everything out. It does have the common rust issues that Mustangs have, but the rear frame rails and torque boxes appear to be good. The floor pans have been replaced at some time and are solid, it just wasn't a very good job. The body itself is pretty much rust free and straight with some rust below the drivers door in the rocker panel. It does need a new paint job. It has a new starter, new fuel pump, and new front brakes. Still has the original buck tag in place and original door sticker. Odometer shows 31,904 and it has probably turned over 100,000, but am unsure of actual mileage. I can store this car for awhile if you are unable to pick up immediately after auction ends, but car must be paid for within 7 days.
