1966 Ford Thunderbird deluxe sport coupe Description:

this is a pretty nice bird.bought from bennett ford in salt lake city. I knew the original owner!! has one repaint years ago. been sitting since 1990. has 61,916 original miles.I bought it & replaced water pump all hoses & belts,front brake hoses & rear brake cyls . new carb, flushed fuel system to get in driving condition.when I got it going the trans only works in low & reverse no 2nd or 3rd gears.so it probably needs trans rebuilt!!! the pics of rust is the only rust I can find on the whole car!! no rust anywhere on the rest of the car,underside is clean & rust free trunk,floors rockers everything is solid with no signs of rust. the cars drives very good but only in low & reverse. flushed the fuel system but it will need the sending unit for the gauge to work.this car will need very little work..all windows,seats,door locks even the rear vent works the 428 sounds perfect very smooth.no leaks anywhere. the plates expired in 1990 & the title shows issued 03/31/1989 with 059,886 original miles. I think the trans will need to be rebuilt & I simply don't have the time right now. also it does have all new exhaust on it. trans &the two little rust spots & the drivers seat seams repaired this would be a very nice bird!!! if it does'nt sell I will store it untill I have the time to finish it. but would really like it to go to someone who can finish & enjoy it.this is a very low mile verified by the title original 61,916 mile car!!! thanks for looking good luck bidding.
