1969 Ford F-100 Ranger Description:

For sale is a clean solid southern shortbed Ford Ranger with a fresh 351W backed by a C4 3 speed auto . Super solid straight truck with no rot or rot repair ever anywhere. Excellent inner and outer rockers, cab corners, door bottoms, floors, frame, body mounts, and the bed is just spectacular - hardly looks used. Sharp crisp edges everywhere, the only rot is in the passenger side radiator support beneath the battery, not serious or structural. Doors open and close like factory - no sag, no slamming. Runs and drives excellent, stops and steers well. New Power steering pump and fuel pump. Incredibly solid body, no patches, Resplendent in Viper Red. Indian blanket seat cover is covering the original vinyl seat which has some splits and tape but it has good foam and sits nice. All glass is good, windows roll up and down, lower windshield (original!) has some hazing on the bottom inch from 50 years of service. Uncut original dash with original non working radio. Brand new Torque Thrust rims (15x8) shod with brand new quality Dunlop white letter radials (fat 255/60s). With Headers, glass packs, shotgun dual exhaust has a beautiful mellow rumble, it has just the right amount of noise without being obnoxious. Big Holley 750 double pumper carburetor with a manual choke runs makes it run strong, start easily. Chassis has only 67k miles on it, truck sat in a barn with a blown 360 from 1975 to 2016. Needs finishing, I am no longer able. Minor electrical work (brake lights) and some cosmetic items are needed, all trim and bumpers are original so to make it show quality it would need a few things. Some bonehead painted a nearly perfect original aluminum grille silver instead of polishing it, half a day to strip and another half a day to polish and it would look spectacular.
