This is an original factory 5.0 5 speed Electric Red with Black interior Notchback Coupe. 30,268 Original Miles. All original paint with ALL Vin tag stickers on every panel. There were only 702 Electric Red Notchbacks made in 1993. Marti report shows this car is 1 of 166 cars made with these paint and trim codes. Very rare and desirable color combination.
I bought this car from the original owner in 2015. This car has been very well cared for over it's 26 year life. Always garaged kept and covered. Never driven in the winter months or any inclement weather. The Electric red paint shines like a diamond in the sunlight. The paint is very deep and glossy. The clearcoat is like new. Minor stone chips are present on the front flat part of the hood and bumper. There are also minor stone chips on the lower rocker panels and quarter panels. All original Carlite glass on the entire car. Rear quarter windows are in perfect condition, showing no visible wear! All original headlights are crystal clear and in perfect condition. Tail lights and turn signals are all original as well in perfect condition. All weather stripping and window moldings + trim are all original and in excellent condition. The car runs very well and doesn't burn or leak any fluids. EVERYTHING works on this car. The air conditioning is all original and blows ICE COLD. Still has the original R12 Freon in the system. The heat blows HOT. Headliner is in perfect condition showing no signs of wear. The vanity mirrors on the sun visors all light up and are like new. The map pockets on the doors are tight and not stretched out. The black interior is all original and complete. No rips or tears or stains. Factory front floor mats are in good used condition. The dash is free on any holes or cracks. Never been smoked in. The drivers seat shows minor wear and is in great condition. The passenger seat and rear seats are in excellent condition and are very firm. All window and door switches work as suppose to. Center console shows minor wear and latches like it's suppose to. The ashtray door works great and the lighter looks unused.
The engine is all original and has never been modified. Still has the original spark plugs, cap and rotor, radiator and coolant hoses on the car. The only things changed are: Brand new Napa Alternator with brand new Motorcraft belt. New Motorcraft positive battery cable and motorcraft battery installed in 2015. K&N air filter, PRO 5.0 Shifter, Pioneer Bluetooth radio with remote, still has all original factory speakers. Kenny Brown Extreme Matrix System which is sub frame connectors and jacking rails welded in. Exhaust has been changed to BBK X Pipe with high flow cats, Flowmaster Super 10 series Mufflers. The rear end still has the original 3:08 gears, never been touched. The car has ALL original brakes front and rear. Never been replaced. Pads and shoes still have a lot of life left. All original struts, shocks and springs. Original spare tire, jack and tire iron still in the trunk. DSO numbers (74 11) in yellow marker from the car hauler that delivered the car to the dealership still on the car where the rear license plate goes. The porter never removed them. The car is only on its 2nd set of tires. The tires are Goodyears from 2003 with 1/4 or so tread left.
