I have been forced to relist this truck due to a NON-PAYING bidder! The "Buyer" who spoiled the previous "Sale" for us all neglected to ask his wife BEFORE bidding if he was allowed to own another vehicle. Please ask your significant other BEFORE you bid. IF you are not able or willing to pay please do not bid!
All this said, Have fun reading and enjoy this truly amazing "ORIGINAL" truck. It is exactly what is meant by the term "Time Capsule!" enjoy!
This is an absolutely amazing original never restored pickup! The odometer shows 52,707 miles and though I have no way to prove it the condition of the truck, the way it runs and drives and the paper work that comes with i, makes me believe them to be original miles! The original Flat head "8AB" V-8 motor starts easily, idles smoothly and has excellent oil pressure. The original interior is as you can see from the photos simply amazing. The motor runs clean, does not smoke or leak, the transmission shifts cleanly (Though due to the non synchronized 1st gear you have to at times double clutch), and it stops straight and true.As you can see from the photos, the body is in original paint and is incredibly;e straight and clean. One or two extremely minor dents, and a couple of very minor rust spots are all that keep the body from being like New. The truck comes with many additional parts as well as two New-Old-Stock Front lower apron panels to replace the only panels that have rust!. I have additional photos of the extra parts ask and I am happy to send them.
As you can see from the photos the truck has all of its original books and receipts including original service receipts from the selling dealer. The drivers side door jam also has the original oil change stickers!
The tires (Firestone), look excellent but as they are very old should be replaced. All rubber door gaskets and trim look like new and are still soft and pliable. The doors, door handles, window lift mechanisms, all work smoothly and are ready for daily use. Truck starts easily and runs well however due to long term storage all fluids and plugs should be changed before truck being put back into daily service.
