1931 Ford Model A Description:
1931 Ford Model A Victoria.This is an older restoration that is still a solid, reliable driver.I have owned this car for about 20 years.It has always been kept inside a heated garage.We have driven it in multiple MAFCA and MARC National meets. We even drove it on a tour up Mount Hood. It has also been to the hill climb in Newport Indiana multiple times.
The engine starts easily and runs well.It will easily go 50-55 on the highway.I just installed a new coil, points and condenser.I also just completely rebuilt the carburetor.All 4 cylinders have good compression.It has a very strong spark.The generator charges properly.The brakes and all lights work.
This is a very desirable body style.The sheet metal is very solid and straight except the left rear fender.You can see it in one of the pics.It is still very solid and repairable but it looks like someone backed into something.The bead at the edge of the fender is still straight and unbroken.
The paint looks good from a few feet away but you can see in the pics that it has a lot of chips and small scratches. The headliner and door upholstery are still nice but theseat upholstery is tired but functional.The tires have good tread.
The car comes with the California Car cover shown in the pics.You can also have the original Illinois plates that are on it.
I don't know the actual mileage. The original speedometer did not work and was replaced.
