Up for sale is a 1959 Ford Galaxie /Fairlane 500 Skyliner convertible. This car is just out of long term storage a few months ago. Mechanically the car runs smooth with no smoke or funny noises, Shifts and stops fine. The top functions as it should. Although not as fast as todays standards. The body is rust free with no signs of previous body work. All the body lines are straight and true. The car was repainted the original color at least 20+ years ago. Great shine with some very minor imperfections. The body is lazer straight. All chrome and bright work are very nice. The rear bumper, V molding and taillight housings could use a re-chrome. Everything else is very nice. The undercarriage is dry and rust free. Included in the sale is a set of stainless fender skirts, original jack and tools and a reproduction owners book.
