1983 Ford F-100 -- Description:

GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1983 Ford F100 for your consideration. Representing the 7th generation of Ford F-series truck, the new for 1980 models had new chassis, better engines, and new styling. With sharper and squarer lines, fuel economy was an important design consideration. Galvanized body panels and chassis were introduced to help fight corrosion. Considered by enthusiasts to be the last great trucks from Ford and are now becoming popular with restorers! The '83 offered here... has been single family owned since new and well taken care of. The truck remains in excellent condition. It is powered by a remanufactured Jasper 302 v8 that has 40,000 miles on it paired to a C6 automatic transmission. The truck originally came with a 232 CID 3.8 paired with a C4 transmission. Highlights include a Holley 4 BBL carburetor with a RV high lift camshaft, electronic ignition with new ECM module, headers, stainless Magnaflows, chrome valve covers and air cleaner, 15 inch mag wheels with 30x9.5x15 Michelin tires, power steering, power brakes, power locks, front and rear sway bars, front coil shocks with rear lift shocks with on board air pump, rear coil overloads, 2 inch towing receiver, Raven fiberglass topper, spare tire, bed liner, custom interior with bucket seats and center console. The carburetor has recently been rebuilt. The truck was repainted in the original color with DuPont paint and still looks great. The truck has also been Zie-barted. The truck comes with the original window sticker! The truck is ready for the road and will get the job done.
