1925 Ford Model T standard Description:

For your consideration is an original 1925 Model T Tudor. The car was purchased new in the spring of 1925 and driven until approximately 1946 at which time it was parked in a garage until the fall of 2016. When the estate was disbursed at that time the car was pulled out of the garage and started after rebuilding the 4 coils and cleaning the gas tank. The car was running when it came to me, however I wanted to make sure I could drive it where ever I wanted with no problems. I pulled the engine, transmission and rear-end and took all that to Ross Lilleker in College Station, Texas so all the driveline could be checked out and any problems could be addressed. Ross has been in the Model T restoration business for many years and has done a through job with this car. I have the invoice for the work that was done at that time and that will be provided with the car. In the process I asked Ross to leave the Georgia dirt on outside of the engine and other parts because I wanted the car to look as original as possible. I hope it stays that way because they are original only once. The engine received new valves and springs, piston rings and complete new gasket set. The cylinder walls are good enough that the original steel pistons are still in use. The transmission had a complete make over with new Kevlar bands and new bearings. The original thrust washers in the rear-end were replaced along with new axels, bearings and seals. The car starts and runs as it should and a new battery was installed about one year ago. The car was originally a dark green, however, as you can see, there is no paint left. The patina on this car is very good so when you take the car to a show it always gets a lot of attention. The original wooden floors, all the original interior, original glass and top cover are in place. The original glass is there, however the four regulators do not work and the passenger door glass is cracked. Replacement window regulators are available, however I just didn't want to tear into the original door panels and mess up the original interior. I did replace the carburetor and generator with rebuilt ones, however the original ones are under the back seat along with other odds and ends. Most of the wiring is new, however I chose not to connect the head lights since I never intended to drive the car after dark. One of the photos shows the original owner and wife and another shows the garage where the car was stored for more than 70 years. I am only the second registered owner of this car and I have a clear Texas title in my name. I have tried to describe the car as best I can, however,if you have any questions I would be happy to answer the best I can. The opening bid on the car is $2,500.00 and after that there is no reserve. The highest bidder will take the car. Transportation is the responsibility of the buyer.

On Nov-13-18 at 12:08:38 PST, seller added the following information:

Well, I hope this addition isn't a duplication but I would like to give some additional information based on questions regarding the ad: 1. The car is in Conroe, Texas which is about 40 miles north of Houston 2. The magneto works great. The car is usually started with the battery and then switched to the mag 3. The tail light doesn't work. The camera flash reflected on the lense and makes it look like it is on, however it isn't hooked up 4. Our travel schedule has kept me from driving the car very much and sitting in the garage isn't the best thing for a car so I'd like to sell it. The amount we have in the car is considerably more than the opening bid but since I'm not driving the car much it needs to go 5. The car is from Georgia and is now in Texas. I looked for a 1925 plate from either Georgia or Texas but Mass was the best I could do. The plate comes with the car 6. I think the water bag fell off one day on the road somewhere and it is missing in action and won't be with the car 7. The horn works fine as it should, however the original horn button was not working so I removed it and substituted a door bell switsch and attached it to the steering column with tape. Thanks for looking
