This awesome unmolested Galaxie 500XL 2-door will look just as cool rolling down the road, turn just as many heads at the local car show, and provide many miles of fun time cruising! Befitting the Galaxie 500 XL's origins as Ford's first full-size muscle machine, this vehicle draws its motivation from a powerful 390 horsepower V-8 engine fed by twin 4 barrel carbs. (Original motor may have been 352). I purchased this in 2012 and the black interior front bucket seats is new, headliner is new, a period correct A/C installed, with a secondary audio system added to original AM radio. Improvements include rear POSI traction, front disc brakes and electronic ignition. Really there are TOO MANY UPGRADES TO LIST! The original paint job is showing wear but still rocking it. There is slight surface rust on roof because it was kept outside uncovered but a good buff will remove most discoloration.
