1989 Ford Crown Victoria Description:

For sale is a 1989 Ford LTD Crown Victoria LX four-door sedan. The car starts, runs,is drivable and is being sold "AS IS." This vehicleis part of a probatedestate and must be sold. Thecarhas been owned bythe samefamily since the original purchase. We believe it has less than 60,000 miles. The odometer shows 22,178; however, the speedometer cablewas broken once, repaired, and broke again (current status),so the exact mileage is unknown. The estimate of less than 60,000 miles is based on a couple of things - 1)the owner'smain driver was a truck; and he only took the Crown Vic out on rare occasions, and 2)according to old oil change records he kept, he averaged 1500-2000 miles a year.The car was stored under a carport covered by acar cover. Thetires were replaced in 2012 and are in good condition with no flat spots. The interior is in excellent condition.

Although there may be other things we're unaware of, the following are issues we have discovered:

• Broken Speedometer Cable
• Gear Shift Indicator doesn't move from "P" position
• Back door windows don't respond to front or back power window buttons
• The power lock button locks all the doors except the driver's door. It has to be locked and opened with the key.
• The front passenger side door, even when unlocked, has to be opened from the inside.
• Exhaust leak from the Y pipe
