1966 Ford Mustang Description:
1966 Mustang Fastback GT 350 re-creation. Full restoration. Very clean original car to start with. All original sheet metal including rear quarter panels. Mild built 289, approximately320 hp with close ratio HEH top loader 4-speed transmission that was professionally rebuilt. New syncros and 2nd gear, Hurst shifter, 8 inch rear end, 350 posi-traction, front 4 piston disc brakes, dual master cylinder. The wheels are brand new magnum 500 15x7 front, 15x8 rear. New tires - BF GOODRICH Radial T/A. New Pony 2-tone interior door panels/dash pad/seat covers/seat foam carpet. Custom retro radio interior chrome trim dash bezel knobs, door handles, window handles, heater ducts and tubes. All chrome is new including trim. it has original front and rear window trim and drip rail trim that has been polished. All glass is Carlite with exception of front windshield.Restoration completed in the summer of 2018. Paint is Candy Apple Red with Wimbledon White stripes. Paint is mirror finish and straight the paint has no chips, scuff or scratches,all gaps on panels are perfect. The finish is basecoat/ clearcoat. If you are looking for show winning car this is the one for you. I have been in the business of professional restorations for 25 years. I typically do not sell my personal cars. I am also not in the business of flipping cars either. I have personally gone through the car and can tell you everything about it so bid with confidence. The car drives and handles very well for the stock suspension with the exception of progressive front coil springs and KYB shocks.
Car goes into heated storage on November 3rd for the winter if it doesn't sell by then.
