1966 Ford Bronco Description:

I am putting up for bid my 1966 Ford Bronco Half-Cab. I purchased the Bronco the way it sits right now. A growing family means I don't have time for the project. It is prefect for someone who wants to make sure their truck is finished exactly how they want.
Here is what I can tell you about the truck. If you have any additional questions please let me know.
Title: The title is clear and the VIN matches the frame.
Body: The reason I purchased this particular Bronco was because I wanted a solid foundation with a good body. The body has been assembled on a jig and is pretty much ready to have the seam sealing finished, then paint. All the major rust areas were replaced. There is no rust other than some surface rust in a few places. Doors will need to be aligned. I hate rust and this tub's lack there of drew me to it. Quarters are uncut as well. This Bronco has been stored inside since its restoration began.
The half cab top is also in good condition. It has a small dent and a hole drilled for a CB antennae but other than that it is great. It does have rear glass.
The doors, windshield frame, tailgate are all good. I do have the half cab bulkhead but it will need to be repaired or replaced.
Frame:The frame has been sandblasted and painted with black chassis paint. The frame is in good condition and solid.
Suspension:Right now the truck is sitting on a 3 inch lift. Nothing special about the lift that I can tell you. It appears to be James Duff coils and bushings. The rear has a full leaf pack, not add a leafs.
It has stock wheels and good BFG A/T's.
Drivetrain:The engine is a 351W that is serviceable but I had planned on doing a full rebuild. It is backed up by an NP435 transmission, however I recently purchased a 4r70w automatic overdrive out of a 2000 Ford Explorer. Manual or automatic. Your choice! The top cover on the NP435 was removed before the body was set back on to keep the tunnel cover intact. I have the Explorer serpentine belt setup as well. This will be included with the truck.
The truck does not have drive shafts.
It does have a power steering box installed and I believe the Explorer serp setup includes the pump and reservoir. I have an old style pump as well.
It has the factory Dana 30 and Ford 9 inch.
Extras:I have boxes of parts, some new, some used, glass, etc. Everything will go with the truck.
It was really hard to get good photos in the garage so don't hesitate to ask for something you would like to see. In my opinion the body looks fantastic. Straight and no rust. The pictures don't really do it justice. I really hate to pass on finishing this project but I don't have the time. I think it will turn into a beautiful truck. This is not a flip and as a long time Bronco owner I'm not looking to gouge in this Bronco Market. I think you will find the price to be fair considering what a good Bronco body alone goes for these days. Im sure there is much I have left out so please ask any questions you have and I will give you an honest answer. I hope the truck will go to a good home.
Thank you!
